The Municipality of Zawadzkie co-operates with the Opole Center for Economic Development, which is a budget unit of the Opolskie Voivodship Government.

The purpose of establishing the new unit in 2007 was to combine in one center all the existing distributed activities in the region, inspiring and supporting structural changes in the field of economy, development of entrepreneurship and innovation. The Opole Center for Economic Development carries out tasks related to the development policy of the Opolskie Voivodeship, which includes such elements as: creating conditions for economic development, creating the labor market, stimulating economic activity and raising the level of competitiveness and innovation of the voivodship’s economy. The Center initiates activities to increase the investment attractiveness of the region and to create investment potential and improve the processes of acquiring and servicing domestic and foreign investors.

The OCRG operates the Investor and Exporter Assistance Center (COIE), which has a rich database of investment offers in the region, helping all companies and people who would like to invest in the Opole Voivodeship. From the very beginning of the establishment of OCRG, COIE has been the main partner in talks with the majority of investors who have already invested in the Opole Voivodeship or intend to do so. Since July 2010, the COIE offer has been expanded to include services for enterprises interested in developing their activities abroad, promoting the idea of developing exports.

OCRG is also the Managing Authority for the process of implementing the Regional Innovation Strategy (RSI) for the Opole Voivodeship, which is also the task of the voivodship self-government. In implementing the voivodship self-government tasks assigned by the Act, the Center is actively involved in the promotion and activating of innovative methods of supporting entrepreneurship, in particular stimulating the creation of science, technology, industrial parks, incubators, clusters, local economic development offices, entrepreneurship and innovation centers.

The initiatives of the Entrepreneurship Department and the Innovation Department in the area of building a regional economic information network for business and promoting the cluster idea are particularly important for OCRG management. The Center also conducts continuous and intensive specialized training for all of its employees, which is aimed not only at raising the level of professionalism, but also at bringing full professionalization of the company.
