Public aid from Special Economic Zones could be granted to companies from the traditional industry (with the exception of enterprises producing alcohol, tobacco, steel, electricity and gas) and some companies from the services sector – IT, research and development services in the field of natural and technical sciences , accounting and book control, accounting services (excluding tax declarations), technical testing and analysis services, call center services, architectural and engineering services.
To receive public aid, an investment project must meet qualitative and quantitative criteria. The quantitative criteria (the minimum level of investment) depend on the unemployment rate in the county where the investment will be located and the size of the enterprise.
The quantitative criteria – investment level in the Zawadzkie Municipality:
- 80,000,000 PLN – large companies
- 16,000,000 PLN – medium companies
- 4,000,000 PLN – small companies, R&D, IT, modern services
- 1,600,000 PLN – micro-companies
Qualitative criteria necessary to meet: in the Opole Voivodeship 5 out of 10.
